Graduate students and postdoctoral fellows in the sciences at Yale carry out projects in genetics in the New Haven Middle Schools going together as teams of 3 per classroom. Details of the program can be found at http://www.seop.yale.edu Graduate students can fulfill one semester of their teaching requirement by serving as a TA for the program. Immunobiology students have served as TAs in the past. Contact Dr. Paula Kavathas, the director, if interested.
