Taxes

The University is a non-profit, tax-exempt institution. Purchases should be made using the following tax exempt numbers whenever possible:

CT Sales Tax Exemption Number: (E00015)
Federal Tax Exemption Number: (A-108967)

Any 1099 Forms received by a department from an outside institution should be forwarded to the Yale University Tax Office located at 155 Whitney Avenue.
