Overview Construction Closeout is the time period from Substantial Completion until all punch list items have been addressed and are completed. The Constructor finishes all remaining items and completes all final invoices for the work. Punchlist On the date of Substantial Completion a Punch list is complied by walking through the completed project to check for those outstanding items which are contractually owed and have not been completed. The user should attend the walk through with the Team to review the project and add items to the punchlist as necessary. It should be noted that at this time only those items which are contractually owed and have not been completed are to be put on the Punchlist. This is not an opportunity to add scope to the project. Assignment Plans Assignment Plans are a contractual deliverable from the Design Team at the end of the project They are 8 ý x 11 inch documents which reflect the architectural layer of the contract documents. They show the architectural layout, the room name, the room number and the net assignable square feet of each room. Net assignable square feet (nasf) is defined as the area bounded by the inside face of demising walls for a given room. Yale School of Medicine tracks net assignable square feet assigned to Departments, as well as net assignable square feet attributable to Administration, such as common toilet rooms, common corridors and stairwells.
