Ye Shen

Division of Biostatistics

ye.shen@yale.edu

Ye Shen’s research interests are in developing and applying Bayesian methods in the analysis of certain data based on epidemiological and public health problems. One particular problem Shen is currently working on is to use empirical Bayesian methods to study categorical data, in which he developed the classified empirical Bayesian (CEB) and optimal algorithm to do estimation, providing better estimates than the classical Bayesian methods in many cases. Other research interests include longitudinal data analysis, statistical genetics, bioinformatics, and clinical trial design.
