Chronic Disease Epidemiology

The Chronic Disease Epidemiology (CDE) division promotes research-based approaches for the prevention and management of chronic disease. An important component of this effort is strengthening the capacity of future global health leaders to understand and address the determinants of chronic disease. Additionally, CDE faculty are testing theories related to cancer etiology, and also working toward understanding the impact of genetic and dietary factors in different regions worldwide.
