Peter Peduzzi, Ph.D.
Adjunct Professor,
Biostatistics
Dr. Peduzzi’s primary research interests involve the design, conduct, and analysis of clinical trials and issues in multivariable analysis and aging research. He is currently Director of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Cooperative Studies Program in West Haven, Connecticut. The Cooperative Studies Program is a national program within the VA's Office of Research and Development that conducts multi-center, multi-national clinical trials and epidemiologic studies. The West Haven Center is currently conducting more than ten trials in cardiology, infectious disease, renal disease, AIDS, cardiac surgery and robotics. Dr. Peduzzi’s current research activities involve determining mechanisms of action for interventions in aging studies and novel designs for clinical trials.
