Part-Time Applicants

A few students enroll in the M.P.H. program on a part-time basis. Since the core curriculum courses offered in the first term are considered essential to subsequent work in the program, part-time students are strongly advised to register for the entire core in the first semester. If it is not possible for the student to complete the entire core initially, it must be completed in the first two consecutive fall terms. In addition, students are expected to complete divisional core coursework before registering for additional courses in that division.

Part-time students must complete 20 courses and must satisfy all degree requirements within five years of the date of matriculation. Those considering part-time study should be aware that no evening, weekend, or summer courses are offered at EPH.
