Matriculation

Immunization Requirements

Connecticut State law requires all incoming students to provide written proof of adequate immunization to Measles (Rubeola) and German Measles (Rubella) in order to register for classes. All medical students are also required to provide documentation of immunization to Mumps, Varicella, Hepatitis B, PPD, Tetanus-Diphtheria and polio.

Registration Requirements

  • Student account’s bill must be paid in full
  • All immunization requirements must be up-to-date
  • Complete and sign student data update form
  • Complete and sign disclosure forms
  • Show proof of health insurance coverage (This requirement only applies to students paying a Registration Fee)

Access To Current Student Records

Current student records are kept in the reception area of the Student Affairs office. A student may request to see his or her file by asking a staff member to pull the file and give it to the student to review. In the current students files are application documents, board scores, and transcripts from other institutions, any matriculation and/or change of status forms, basic science commentaries, and clinical clerkship evaluations. A student has access to everything in his/her file.
