Skills AssessmentStudents are assessed on their ability to perform a complete history and physical exam as well as on their communication skills at the end of second year in the assessment program at the University of Connecticut. Students are scored and given remediation if they did not perform satisfactory in basic history and physical exam. At the end of third year, students return to the assessment laboratory at the University of Connecticut where they are assessed on their ability to perform focused history and physical exams in a seven station OSCE.
