I currently have two main research interests. I am studying the validity of utilizing sonography in the diagnosis of diseases
of the small bowel and colon in children, especially inflammatory bowel
disease. I am also interested in neonatal vascular anatomy and physiology,
especially in the premature infant. I am researching the pattern of closure
of the ductus venosus in infants in comparison with the closure of the
ductus arteriosus by utilizing Doppler sonography.
