Recent research has been conducted in the animal lab and involves use of
intravenous ultrasound contrast agents in the evaluation of normal and
abnormal perfusion in multliple organs and in assessment of tumor
neovascularity. Other interests include measurement of extremity blood
flow using Doppler techniques in normal and disesed patients, the
Doppler changes in ectopic pregnancy following treatment with
Methotrexate, and use of Doppler ultrasound to characterize ovarian masses.
