Scientific Lecture Series

Our mission:

To provide an open forum at Yale for presentation of scientific data and exchange of scientific thought among the Dermatology research community and among colleagues from other departments which encourages innovation and collaborative investigation, thereby leading to advances in the field of dermatology. In particular, this series aims to further develop biomedical research at the Yale University School of Medicine Department of Dermatology, which is nationally recognized as a leader in academic dermatology.

Come join us on Wednesdays at 12:00 noon in the Beeson Library (Hunter 619) for lectures and discussions on Dermatology. You are invited to enjoy a light lunch before each lecture.

This year's Dermatology Scientific Lectures promise an outstanding series of highly qualified speakers drawn from inside Yale Dermatology, as well as from Dermatology departments outside Yale. We are especially pleased to include speakers from departments other than dermatology (both Yale and non-Yale) whose work is of special interest to the field of dermatology. At 12 noon each Wednesday in the Beeson Library (located on the 6th floor of the Hunter Radiation Therapy Center, HRT) each Speaker presents a 50 minute research talk, allowing ten minutes for questions at the conclusion of their presentation. Website entries for each lecture are conveniently linked to relevant references from the literature and to the speaker's CV. Light refreshments are served prior to each 12 noon session.
