Overview
Animal Genomics Services provides resources and services for the creation of genetically engineered mice.
Description of services
- Transgenic Mouse Service: Performs pronuclear microinjection of transgene constructs to create transgenic mouse lines.
- Gene Targeting Service: Creates genetically engineered mice via homologous recombination in embryonic stem (ES) cells and subsequent blastocyst injection of targeted ES cell lines. Derives ES cell lines from mouse blastocysts. Provides ES cell karyotyping.
- Embryo Crypreservation Service: Cryopreserves and maintains 8 cell stage mouse embryos.
