The Section of Corneal and Refractive Surgery Sections treats a wide range of common and rare corneal and external disease problems. Cornea and eye disorders commonly treated include dry eyes, blepharitis, recurrent erosion, corneal ulceration, herpes simplex keratopathy, pseudophakic corneal decompensation, keratoconus, corneal dystrophies, pterygia and external tumors. The Contact Lens Section fits specialty lenses, including keratoconus lenses, as well as cosmetic contact lenses.

The Yale Eye Center is located on the 3rd floor of the Temple Medical Center at 40 Temple Street in New Haven, Connecticut. Patients may use valet parking services, the Temple Street Garage, connected directly by a second story skywalk, or the Temple Medical Garage, connected directly to 40 Temple Streeet on the first level. Your Appointment: What to Bring with You

The Yale Eye Center physicians ask that you bring the following items with you for your appointment:

• Your current eyeglasses and/or contact lenses
  
  
• List of all current medications (include the name of the medication and the dosage)
  
  
• Medical records that relate to your current condition. This should include X-rays, CT scans and any additional test results or copies of medical records.
  
  
• Your current health insurance identification card and any referral/authorization forms that may be required by your insurance company.
