Child Study Center School

The Yale Child Study Center School at the Yale University School of Medicine provides educational programming to children who are admitted to Yale-New Haven Hospital. Founded in 1985, the Yale Child Study Center School provides special education and diagnostic services for children ages four through fourteen who are either hospitalized on the Children’s Psychiatric Inpatient Service or who attend the Partial Hospital Program of Yale-New Haven Hospital.

The Yale Child Study Center School is approved by the Connecticut State Department of Education. Programming occurs from September through June. Summer programming and Extended School Year services are offered throughout the month of July.
