Resources For Parents


Raising a family is one of the most rewarding, complicated, joyous, stressful, and satisfying of human undertakings. Parenting is a tough job. ParentsFirst.net works to make that job a little easier by connecting parents and caregivers to information, community services, and activities in the Greater New Haven area.

Finding Childcare Solutions provides information about childcare options.

Selecting A Care Solution provides information about evaluating childcare options through visits, interviewing, and checking references.

Choosing Childcare provides guidance about finding the right childcare solution for your family.

Bulletin Boards for forming Playgroups, for posting the availability of Childcare Positions in the Greater New Haven Community, and for finding Childcare Solutions are maintained here.

The Affordable Child provides information about services that make raising a family in Greater New Haven more affordable.

CT Parents Plus Calendar provides a list of Training Classes for Parents and Child Care Providers in the Greater New Haven area. CT Parents Plus is to provide parents with the information and resources they need to feel confident and successful in their role as parents, and to connect families and educators in ways that will enable them to work together as equal and active partners in the ongoing development and education of their children.
