Provide young child with a lot of opportunities to play with balls. Encourage young children to use smaller and harder balls as the child gets better at catching, kicking, and throwing.

Fun activities to do with children

Provide a target for a child to throw soft balls into such as a cardboard box, clothes basket, stacked blocks and even your hand.

Play catch.

Play kickball.
