Activities to do with children
Balancing:
With chalk ask a child to draw a straight line on a sidewalk
or driveway and then walk it.
Play hopscotch. For rules visit Games
Kids Play.
Encourage
a child to walk on a low beam such as a curb or sand box.
Spot the child and hold hand if needed.
Swinging:
Push
a baby gently in an infant or toddler swing for short
periods of time.
As
a child gets older the type of swing he/she uses will
change.
Parks
with “bucket” swings give children the opportunity
who enjoy being swung.
