Playgroups

Playgroups
provide an excellent support resource for parents and other
caregivers and a great socialization opportunity for children.
Playgroups can be:
home
based (parents take turns hosting at their homes),
community
based (families meet on a regular basis at a community
resource for example, a park, library, church, synagogue),
or
travel
based (families meet on a regular basis at a variety of
places, like museums, parks, libraries, beaches). See
Play
and Learn Together for ideas.
If
you are interested in forming a playgroup for your child,
e-mail ParentsFirst@yale.edu
with the following info: playgroup type (home based,
community based, travel based), age of child or children,
town, type of group, best days and times.
