A drinking reduction study for young adults sponsored by the National Institutes of Health and Yale University School of Medicine What is this study about?We are testing a method to reduce
heavy drinking in young adults, which includes the following: You will not be required to stop drinking in this study How does this study work?First, contact us to get answers to any questions you have and so we can ask you some screening questions. Most of the study takes place over a two-month period
with follow-up appointments afterward. 1) Take a physical exam, which includes lab work Naltrexone is an FDA-approved medication that has
been found to be safe and effective in reducing drinking Again, you will not be required to stop drinking in
this study To participate in the study, you must . . . * Be between 18-25 years old What will I get for participating?1) A free physical exam and lab work What about compensation? You will be compensated for
each
appointment you attend. |
