Richard Wilson: Interview

Mr. Wilson admits to frequent the Yale E.R. on many occasions over the last 15 years, has been noted to have hypertension since 1978 and non-insulin requiring DM since 1980.

Mr. Wilson has been prescribed various medications over the years to help control his hypertension and diabetes but he has been non-compliant and states cannot afford to pay for them. He is currently unemployed, lives in a New Haven shelter, has no health insurance and says that "Yale is my doctor."

He smokes and drinks alcohol regularly, but can't quantitate the amount or duration of each.
