Leonard Tyson: Introduction

Leonard Tyson, an 83-year-old man is brought to the Y-NHH E.R. and admitted because of a change in mental status.

Mr. Tyson is a resident of a nearby nursing home and has a long history of multiple medical problems including congestive heart failure, non-insulin dependent diabetes, chronic osteoarthritis, COPD with exacerbations of acute bronchitis and cerebrovascular disease (he sustained a mild thrombotic left hemispheric stroke in 1990).
