II. The Pectoral Girdle
The pectoral girdle is formed by the clavicle and scapula. It connects the humerus to axial skeleton. The scapula and humerus were introduced last week. The figure below demonstrates the relationship between the scapula, humerus, and clavicle. Be sure to go over the radiology put up by the professors in the anatomy rooms. A large part of the qualifier is going to deal with radiology and it would be a good idea to get a feel for it now.
